225 Vehicles Netted in E. Jakarta Lintas Jaya Operation

Joint personnel controlled 225 vehicles on Jalan Raya Kalimalang and kawasan Jatinegara. This operation's main target is illegal parking and public minivans that stop in illegal places.

East Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept. (Sudinhub)'s Monitoring and Controlling Section Head, Slamet Dahlan explained, operations was done to net vehicles that violate the rules. Such as illegal parking, public minivans that stop in illegal places, incomplete vehicle documents, vehicle that violates the route, and others.

"70 joint personnel were deployed in today's Lintas Jaya operation. Our main target is in three locations and we have controlled 225 vehicles," he stated, Wednesday (3/28).

195 Vehicles Netted in E. Jakarta Lintas Jaya Operation

From 225 vehicles, he continued, 32 bikes which parked on Jalan Matraman Raya sidewalk were taken to East Jakarta Sudinhub office. While other bikes were ticketed due to traffic violation.

Then, 35 bikes were flattened while parking along Jalan Matraman Raya, 45 cars were ticketed by Sudinhub personnel in three locations. Besides, 13 vehicles' operation were stopped because of expired KIR documents, unroadworthy vehicles, incomplete vehicle documents, and others.  

Moreover, 87 vehicles were ticketed by police and 15 others were towed due to illegal parking on sidewalk and roadside.
